Excellent French bistro-style food, with a sushi bar included (actually pretty good sushi). Built on the bones of several other restaurants (Mama's, Vanessi's and Gramercy Grill), Le Bistrot at Gramercy is a casual French bistro tucked in a highrise on San Francisco's Nob Hill. The new owner, Michael Deeb, who also owns Nob Hill Cafe and Vinticello in San Francisco and Vicino in Sausalito, has made few changes from the most recently past occupant. But the formula seems to be working, as the place is now busy with both theatre and other assorted diners. This place is good, will get better and is now worthy of a visit. I know that we will be back, because I've been told that by my faithful dining partner.
