Corner Cafe Tree Manila, Manila
i am not a vegetarian person but i think it's worth the try. At first, I just want to have an coffee adventure experience since im tired with the usual starbucks, figaro among other coffee shop places you can go to. I want to try a new experience and a new taste, although most of the coffees tastes all the same. So my friend recommended the place to me so we can sit down and chat a bit. It was my first time to be there and they did gave me a good first impression. And as we all know.. first impressions last! I just had a Lasagna with Spinach and Mushroom with a salted caramel chocolate torte. Oh yes! They ruined my no to sugar diet! The place is really cozy and small to be very noticeable. But I guess they already made a name that's why most of the time you need to call to make a reservation if you want to dine here. Every one was nice! Too bad that I haven't eaten some of their yummy goddies. Maybe next time! :) By the way.. the name was taken from the tree in a nearby corner of the cafe which was never cut down. So that explains why it is called Corner Tree Cafe.
Barbara's Restaurant Manila, Manila
I cant help but share my experience in Barbara's Restaurant. I saw a review on them in a TV Program and I told myself I want to experience being in the Spanish era. And I was not disappointed. The place is outstanding! The food are also excellent... Like the typical filipino food that you can eat somewhere though their sauces and soups are different from others. But they really taste great. What I was looking forward was the experience. It's really a moment for me to remember. And I will be back surely return!
the aristocrat Pasay, Pasay
The aristocrat restaurant is strategically placed in malls or nearby main roads where people can stop by and have a taste of a royal treatment. yes i call it as a royal treatment.. literally an aristocrat. its like there is always a celebration whenever you eat in the aristocrat. they serve filipino dishes and their desserts are absolutely tasty!
Tapsi ni Vivian Quezon City
if you are looking for a "lutong-bahay" local food cuisine, this is your place to be. You can always taste that traditional breakfast or merienda meal everyday! If you are out-of-budget but still wants to be satisfied when eating, you can always eat at Tapsi ni Vivian. They also have a branch near our place in Cainta in front of Sogo Hotel near Sta. Lucia east Grandmall.
Ziggurat Cuisine Makati, Rizal
If you're tired of the filipino food and korean, japan, sinagaporean and chinese style of food, you can try to check out Ziggurat! An amazing place that will take you in islamic places. It will make you feel that you are out-of-the-country coz of the decorations and ambiance that the restaurant will make you feel! And to add up the ambiance, delicacies from persia, india, Mediterranean and I can go on and on! What's more suprising is.. the food is just amazing! the plating, the scent.. everything was awesome! and it really suits your budget!
Zark's Burgers Malate, Manila
I was like going to die with my stomach full when i ate in Zarks where they serve the best big burgers ever! If you have a big appetite you can try their Ultimate Burger! But their delicacies doesnt end in burgers alone, you can also try their salads and barbecues. They have solo meals and if you will celebrate with family and go out with friends, they have a barkada meal. Its a food that you will die to ask for more! YUM! YUM!
