Restaurant Name City
Melrose Diner Philadelphia, PA
OK for a dinner, not the best choice in the city, but always very busy.
Santucci's Original Square Philadelphia, PA
Awesome pizza! I always bring one to any party/tailgate and people swoop down on it like vultures. Always a tasty treat!
White Dog Cafe Philadelphia, PA
I recently ate Sunday brunch here and was underwhelmed with the experience. My server seemed hung over/depressed and was not as readily available as I would have liked. The food was good, but did not blow my mind.
Primo Hoagies Philadelphia, PA
A solid sandwich, which is a must if you are going to stay in business in Philadelphia. Not bad - not the best.
Chickie's Italian Deli Philadelphia, PA
A good sandwich with friendly staff. A far cry from the KING of sandwiches (Sarcones), but acceptable fare none the less.
South Street Diner Philadelphia, PA
Average dinner fare. The service is always fast and friendly.
Osteria Philadelphia, PA
Expensive but worth it. Excellent thin crust pizzas, homemade pastas, an interesting mix of ingredients. The room and vibe is casual/hip. This restaurant will be a top destination in Philadelphia in no time.
Pho 75 Philadelphia, PA
Nothing like a delicious bowl of hot noodle soup with shaved brisket and tripe! Flavorful, aromatic, and satisfing!
Taqueria La Veracruzana Philadelphia, PA
This could be the mecca of mexican food. Burritto as long as my arm filled with pork and pineapple! The chile relenos tacos are so good they nearly brought me to tears. I love this place. Very good and dirt cheap.
North Third Philadelphia, PA
Another Philadelphia Gastro Pub done right. A great happy hour spot with a decent bar menu in addition to more upscale items. Brunch is also good here, but very busy.
Jose Pistola's Philadelphia, PA
Off the hook fish tacos. A lot of love is put into the food here. The staff is very proud of the product. The food is above average and the Barkeep/Owner/Partner Corey did a great job navigating us through our meal. Very enjoyable!
Down Home Diner Reading Terminal Philadelphia, PA
A good stop for a belly buster breakfast. The sawmill gravy and biscuits are great, sometimes the service can be a little slow. The place is extremely busy, I suggest visiting during non peak hours.
Mccrossen's Tavern Philadelphia, PA
A good pick for after work drinks and a light snack. You can sit at the bar or sit in the dinning room which has a more upscale feeling. Friendly and inviting with a good selection of beer.
Spirit of Philadelphia Cruises Philadelphia, PA
Avoid. Imagine prison food on a boat with dancing and singing. 3 hours of torture.
Nodding Head Philadelphia, PA
Your typical pub fare. Not bad, not great. The bartenders are funny as hell. I've heard the most off the wall conversations at this bar, always interesting.
Mama Yolanda's Italian Rstrnt Philadelphia, PA
Old school. Rather bland and unimaginative. Waitress kept calling me "hun". Not too hot.
Caribou Cafe Philadelphia, PA
Solid menu with Stella on tap. A fun place for drinks and a good vantage point to "people watch"
Geno's Steaks Philadelphia, PA
I love this place! A Philadelphia destination.
Scannicchios Philadelphia, PA
A great lunch spot! Good Italian food without a lot of bells and whistles.
Domino Diner Philadelphia, PA
Run of the mill diner, nothing to write home about.
