Today my family and I went to Los Dos Amigos Mexican restaurant and were served spoiled food in which I did not intend to pay for. They tried to charge me for half the food which I didn't eat any of chips, salsa etc... I refused to pay and then called the Ada police. When the officer arrived he proceeded to tell me that he didn't care that they served rotten food I still had to pay for it, which I did begrudgingly. I wouldn't recommend eating here if it were the last or only place to eat in the world.

Vito's Ristorante is my very favorite Italian Restaurant. I have eaten all over Italy, in Krebbs, Oklahoma, and my wife's family are all Italian. I loved it all, but this is STILL my very favorite. I have the greatest respect for Cathy and her staff. And they ALL speak Emglish! Love To All... Jim

When I need a fix for fine Schnitzel or real german style sausage or wieners I head to Seigi's. What suprised me was when in Texas at German deli I started to buy some meat and it was from here. My only complaint is the hours, mine mostly, I don't seem to get here in time.

My wife and I were big fans of Steak and Ale for several years, however, like a number of Tulsa restaurants still listed on Dine.com it has been closed for at least two years. My wife still brings up the taste of their garlic cheese bread, but no one I've found in the Tulsa area has anything even close. Ah well! Gone but not forgotten!

There has been great food on this location since the 50's when Joe Marbut had one of his cafes there, through the 60'and 70 when Pinson had the restaurant. The foods good, the people are friendly, and you'll see anybody thats anybody in Hugo, there if you just set a while.

I ran a company in Hugo for many years, and going by the Busy Bee was one of the joys of going into town. I'm surprised no one mentioned the "Samlet" a great sausage, cheese and egg burito. Cooked when you order, they will add anything that you want( I like mine with onion, jalapino, and letuce) On a good day they sell so many of those from the drive through that you will think they rerouted Southbound Broadway through their lot. Their hamburgers and fries are good, but the samlet alone is worth stopping for!

Sadly, Franks is another Tulsa landmark place that is no more. Closed for several years, the quality of the food had been slipping long before it closed. Back in its hayday of the 70's, and early 80's it was the place to go for food and beer before the gun show or a Charlie Daniels or Garth Brooks concert. It was once the kinda place that you were happy in and among good companions no matter what you tracked in on your boots, or how big your hat was. The times, they are a changing- and not always for the better.

Silver Flame is my favorite steak place in Tulsa. I've been a customer for at least 20 years (back when they were located at the Farm Shopping Center) and unless you just show up without a reservation on Valentines Day (made that mistake once), both the food and the service has always been spectacular. My wife has even taken her regional manager there for lunch and now he's a regular. This is one of the places we take family from out of town and they are always impressed. The foods great, the service is wonderful, why you sitting here reading- GO!!

Righ Wing has been one of my wifes favorite places for several years(and trust me, thats a picky woman when it comes to food). She prefers the Garlic wings, I prefer the Nitro, both are good. We took a bunch to a family thing in West TX. a few years ago and they were a big hit there too. Good food, good prices, and the pool table ain't bad either! Try em!!
