I have only been to fast Eddy's during the night time hours so I have
nothing to comment on the food, but to just get one beer you must wait
behind 300 people crammed at a bar and once you realize nobody is ordering
anything you have to forcefully push your way to one of the sides of the
bar. If your lucky one of the bartenders won't be having a full conversation
with a customer trying to get numbers and might acutally get you a beer.
It is a very gross grimey place to be at night and definately not a classy
place. If you prefer to smell like old beer and vomit then this is the
place for you!

While dining at the Corndance over the weekend my husband bit down on
a large shard of glass in his entree. He informed our waiter of the incident
who sent the manager/owner Tammy over to speak with us. She was unappologetic
and insulting. I will not return to this restaurant.

If you want a lesson in customer service, look no further. The management
and staff at the Shrimper (as locals know it)are the best around at making
sure your experience is pleasurable. A wonderful menu (try the frog
legs) and consistency in the preparation make this one of Madison's
most popular eatery's. From the moment you set foot and are greeted
(quite possibly by the owners)until you leave, rest assured your satisfaction
is their utmost priority. My personal favorite on the menu is the Panama
Shrimp. Nice prawns wrapped in bacon and sautee'd in a spicy red
sauce. Make sure you start out with a cup of the seafood chowder. Don't
forget to take a slice of Key Lime Pie home with you. You'll be glad
you did.

Breakfast was really good but the dining room is too small to allow smoking.
Good price for good food.

Worst chinese food I have ever had. We tasted the food and ended up leaving
to find some where else to eat. We love chinese food, seen as I am from Vancouver BC I grew up with great
chinese food. The food at the New China is beyond what I can find words
to say, except it is the worst. And to top off the bad food was the smell
of a backed up sewer. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's
sad because there are very few chinese restaurants in the area. A good
chinese place would be like owning a gold mine around here???

The Railroad has been boarded up for a couple of years now. In October
of 2009 it was sold at auction. The new owner has been trying to rehab
the place, but now there is a for sale sign in the window again? The rehab
has a long ways to go before it is able to be opened again. They used to have a really good family style dinner. But what it's
future is who knows?
