I used to work there, in 1995. They made their own salad dressings that were fantastic. Are they still open? I live far away now and would love to get the recipe for their creamy garlic dressing.

Having dined at this establishment many times, I cannot say that I have ever had a negative experience. Upon entering the host/ess have always been welcoming and polite, service has been swift and precise and the cuisine on point. Brunch is one of my favorite meal times, next to dessert. The Uptown puts on a show with an elegant bread pudding style french toast that pairs well with a mimosa or a warm Cafe Borgia. Dinner is always exciting with warming comfort foods that have flair as well as soul. The combination of casual Louisiana fair with French refinement is skillfully demonstrated in each dish. I cannot wait for my next visit.

YUCK!!!!!!! Nobody in my group enjoyed their food. The salad bar USED to be amazing! I went there all the time and recently the quality of food has absolutely desinigrated. I don't know if this is to save money or if they are trying to make changes, but either way I have been less than pleased every time I have been there of late. Today it was absolutely DISGUSITNG!! I had to spit out most of it after tasting it! YUCK YUCK YUCK!! Then, when I told the owner (Norm) this, he was absolutely RUDE and proceeded to tell me how nobody has ever complained about it before.. sooo this makes my experience null and void? He also said that he didn't believe me. He made me feel an inch small because I didn't have a good experience. If he would have been respectful and business-like instead of a complete jerk I might have considered going back. I will NEVER GO BACK and I will NEVER EVER RECOMMEND IT AGAIN! Gag!

Vesuvios is the best pizza I have EVER had, I ate at the one on Toledo Rd. Was in town for vacation from Texas. Ate there several times tried the Pizza(to die for) Pizza garlic bread,subs, chef salad.The staff was very nice, place was very clean loved the deco. Will be back next time in town.

Just opened Friday 5/25/2012. Friday is Hand carved Prime Rib. Good selection, all tasted Great. Evening $12.95 Breakfast and Sunday Brunch $7.90. Of course all subject to change. Waite staff very friendly and the General Manager came around to each table and and was open to comments.

Sophia's Highland, IN Family Restuarant open daily for breakfast and lunch. Excellent pancakes. Excellent omelettes. Large portions for a reasonable price. Highly recomend. Fast atentative service with a smile. Can get crowded on Sundays. Not open for dinner.
