Gardunos, and it's predecesors in Albuquerque, offer a taste of "Old" Mexico, as many of their unique dishes are Mexican, rather than New Mexican. Very attractive interiors, strolling Mariachis on occasion, and usually pretty hot entrees. I would advise the novice to order his red or green chile salsa "on the side, " so one may add as little or as much as desired to the dishes. Enchiladas, and tacos are especially pleasing. A pleasant environment for all occasions.

Very nice place for a date or anniversary. The Mariachis make a nice impression on tradition and culture to the food. Wonderful fajitas and margaritas.

Nice place with decent food. Mariachis will come and sing at your table. Good magaritas and a good sunday brunch buffet.
