I brought a group to Hu Ke Lau for luncheon and the holiday show. What a great time we all had! We couldn't have been seated at a better table for the view of the stage was excellent. The food was very good and the service was very efficient. My roasted chicken was perfectly prepared and the veggies were steamy and crisp. And, the show...it was fabulous! The music, the costumes, and the smiles on the performers faces helped make the entire experience a memorable one! This was the second time I brought a group with me and it was good enough for me to start planning a third!

The Hu Ke Lau has had some sort of serius decline in quality and quantity of food. On previous occasions, I have always enjoyed the Hu Ke Lau, but now, after an evening spent there, I was disgusted. The buffett was gross, the quality of food was poor, with either lukewarm food, old food or the rude staff. The once beautiful design and atmosphere seems to be in disrepair-I was seated in a cafeteria-type room with little of the design that the Hu Ke Lau is famous for. I traveled 45 minutes to get there, but I discovered that I could have stayed home for some crummy asian food. This was on a weeknight, I hope the food on the weekends is better.

The decor of this resturant is tropical. At times there can be a long wait to get a seat. There are five delicous buffets which are constantly being tended to by the staff. Or if you choose you can order off the menu. The food is always fresh. I am impressed with the one buffet with the side of beef the staff cuts from to create the dish of your choice while you wait. Even if you are on a diet, this menu seems to accomidate you. There is plenty of wonderful fish and seafood on the main buffet. Should you desire, there is dinner entertainment in another part of the restaurant. This is a place to which you will want to return and enjoy!

This restaurant offeres good Chinese-American cuisine. It has a large buffet where items are cooked to order. Pick out a particular cut and have it grilled in front of your eyes. Also offered are a sushi bar and live entertainment. Many national comedian headliners hit this on their circuit. While your waiting, sometimes karoake is offered in a bar area. Great place to bring a date.

Rick next time you go get the buffet. They have the biggest chinese food buffet in the area. There is nothing that isn't on that buffet and it's all you can eat. Chop suey, chow mein, fried rice with pork or chicken or shrimp, fried wontons, chicken fingers, sesame chicken, chicken wings, bbq ribs, teriaki steak, egg fo young, white and brown rice, egg drop soup, etc. etc.
