Ruby's is our favorite mexican. We have been to quite a few in Amarillo, but this is the best. I love their tacos, and their salsa is one of my all time favorites.

Ruby's does a great job at preparing average mexican food. I happen to have lived much further south for many years and find this generic Mexican quisine to be a bit on the bland and corporate side. I taste the second rate "white-man's" mexican food from Ruby's and immediately wish I were back in Austin or San Antonio in an "authentic" taquerria. What it lacks in authenticity Ruby's makes up for in a great price and large servings. The atmosphere is pleasant and the drink specials are a little on the better side. The wait staff is usually courteous and prompt.

I have eaten at Ruby's for years, and intend to do so for many more years. The reason is the food. Sure, the staff is friendly and effecient, and the prices are fine, but the bottom line is the food is so good. Nothing is zapped from frozen. The waiter on my most recenr vist told me there is no microwave in the kitchen. I like the atmosphere, the ease of entry and exit, the space inside. But I love the food.

This is a good tex mex, the food is good and the staff are usually college kids but do a wonderful job. Not as clean as i like but the foods good for the money and the staff is friendly which will keep me going back.

Great Food but the noise can be bothersome. A very authentic establishment with plenty of mexican decore. Service is decent with mostly young(student) wait staff. Bar is well stocked with talented tenders.
