We were originally going to Caraba's , but since there was a two
hour waiting list we decided to go to J Christophers...and my god we
should have waited those two hours, then we'd know we were really
getting Italian food. The atmosphere was sickining. We ordered the
garlic cheese bread for an appitizer and it was actually pretty good
but it was waaayy too buttery. And their "homemade" sauce
is so obviously canned. The crutons were deep fried pieces of bread.
The chicken parmesan sandwich's chicken was burned, the salmon
Italiano's fish was old and it was covered in butter. i didn't
like that place and i guarantee you i wont be coming back any time soon.

It is ashame that I have been prompted to write a negative review
about one of the oldest restaurants in Kingwood. I believe the
owner has forgotten why he is so successful. Our Story. 14 people
in our group ask for three separate checks. At least 10 minutes
elapsed between the first entree and last entree delivery. I
was last and the person next to me was finished. Getting refills
on our drinks was a challenge. We get one bill with little numbers
indicate which party is which instead of three checks. We point
this out the the waitress and got no apology or regret just "So
What" attitude. We ask for the manager. He listens to our
story and walks off with out a word, not even an apology. One of
our group confronts him at the front and asks for an apology. He
refuses even then his answer was "I don't get involved
with those type of things" When this was pointed out as an
improper business practice he just said "Well then don't
ever come bac ...

I really like this place. The pizza and pasta is authentic, not
just another italian chain restaruant. The Atmosphere is somewhat
lacking, as it is in a dying strip mall in Kingwood.

Great pizza and great salads. The pizza is more $ than the likes
of Dominoes or Pizza Hut specials, but it's fresh and tasty. Service
is friendly and its a great family place. Hey, the carry out is
just as good!

Fsmily owned and operated. Very reasonable priced menu with
something for everyone. Hands down the best thin crust pizza
in Houston.
