Wow, what a restaurant. In addition to having just about any beer you
could think of to choose from, the food it just amazing. If you can't
decide which beer to order, just order one of their samplers. You will
get 5 oz. of 5 different beers. After we had fun trying the different
flavors of beer, we ordered salad, crab cakes, shrimp Po Boy and the
seafood sampler. The salad dressings were amazing. All dressing are
made in house. The Italian dressing was loaded with Parmesan and Romano
cheese. The crab cakes were the best I have every had. They are loaded
with crab meat, shrimp and crawfish. Both the Po Boy and seafood sampler
were great. But, besides the crab cakes, the bread pudding dessert
was absolutely to die for. It comes hot with lots of pecans in a delicious
sauce.

A beloved local hang out for LSU students. Here you will find intellectuals,
rabid Tiger fans, and drunken frat boys. Truly a spirited and
stimulating enviornment! The food is pretty good, and the beer
selection is terrific, particularly if you are fond of imports.

I think The Chimes is a great restaurant/pub with an eclectic
atmosphere. I am in town from Monroe, and we don't have any
place that even comes close to the brew and food served up at this
place. Kudos to the owner of the Chimes, you have a great place
to eat and knock back a few pints.

I think the Chimes is cool. They even allow communist to drink
there. I like the bartenders and talking to all the smart professors
from LSU. I wished I would have gone to graduate school. Also the
owner named Mike is the coolest.

This is a great place to go to watch the game or kick back with friends.
It has a very sociable atmosphere and pretty decent food. Definitely
a place to go on the weekends.

An LSU tradition for good reason. There are some things you can
just rely on and the Chimes is one of them.
<br>
College students, pre-game, post-game, neighborhood, tourists,
whatever, you owe to yourself to make a trip to the Chimes.

The best LSU pre-game place to go! Walking distance from the stadium,
and the best sandwiches in town. The Grouper Sandwich rocks!
