Steamboat Bill's is a cajun/seafood restaurant which appropriate atmosphere. The food is a bit pricey, but it authentic and tasteful. Although, there is a good selection of entree's, most are prepared fried. If a customer wants something boiled or steamed, it does cost more. I also do not like that one has to order at the window upon arrival. I like to sit down and be able to look at the menu and be served.

When I was stationed at Fort Polk we would travel to Lake Charles and eat here. The food and service was always good. We enjoyed the fish selections. When in town a must to try!

If you enjoy ethentic cajun food, this is the place for you...easy on the wallet and a very casual atmosphere. Next time your in lake charles this is a must

Great restaurant to eat at if you love seafood. The crawfish etoufee is wonderful there. The service is great, too. I would definitely recommend eating at this restaurant!
