Papa Mondo is the most authentic Italian Restaurant on the Beach or in all of Fort Meyers. Of all the times I have visited the service was sparkling and attentive, leaving no doubt that the customer was of primary importance. From the appetizers to the most complex of the seafood specialty dishes, Papa Mondo is in a class all by itself. It is expensive, yet, one willingly pays the price for the attention to detail that the entire staff . . . from the chef down to the bus boys . . . give to each and every customer. Highly recommended.

I have eaten in this restaurant several times. The staff is courteous and attentive. The food is very good--everything fresh and well presented. Happy hour features free pasta at the bar. The only reason that I did not give the restaurant 5 stars is that I ask every time I order for extra sauce and have never received it. I don't mind paying for the sauce--I just "want it my way".
