Worst pasty brown frozen hockey puck crab cake I have ever had. Girlfriend
and I both left these pathetic excuses on the plate. The waitress felt
she was off the hook because she earlier had warned us off the steamed
crabs. This place is the pits, you've been warned! DPS

Ultra-casual, but a very fun place! It fills up really quick,
so definitely plan on getting there early. You'll be rewarded
with some very, very reasonably priced early bird specials.
The food was pretty good overall. Definitely worth checking
out.

Great fresh seafood in a Key West style atmosphere. Not a place
to go with small children but a fun casual spot for adults.

On the outside, it may look like a dive... but once you've eaten
here, you hardly notice... it's part of the atmosphere. Sometimes
there is a long line, but it's always worth the wait!

A casual atmosphere with great seafood. I have never been disappointed.
It is a great midway place to meet my Pinellas friends since I live
in Hillsborough.

A local favorite, the crab shack is a great place to get real local
seafood. Local seafood in St. Pete means blue crab, stone crab,
grouper and mullet. They cook all of these items and many more
in a variety of ways. You can get 'em smoked, blackened, grilled,
etc. The place is small so if you plan on eating there on a Friday
or Saturday night, go EARLY or be prepared to wait. If you decide
to wait, give yourself a treat and order a pitcher of the house
sangria...its surprisingly good. Last but not least, this place
has been around for eons! It is very casual and the 'eatin can get
messy if you order crabs, so don't wear your Sunday best, shorts
and flip flops will do just fine.
