This and Gio’s are the backbone of Italian excellence here in Tampa
while goes is more upscale new Italian while Lauro Ristorante holds
firm on classic good Italian food and does it better then anyone else
in town so well worth a visit

This place is very old world with a professional wait staff. The
food is hand mad. No pasta from a box here. Outstanding.

This restaurant was amazing. We were seated and the waiter draped
the napkins onto our laps and returned moments later with hot
bread and the most delicious olive oil for dipping we have ever
tasted. Next we ordered an appetizer of stuffed mushrooms that
were out of this world and the sauce on top of them, made you want
to lick the plate. Next the salad and it was very good with excellent
light Italian dressing. Onto the
main dish... I had the Scaloppine Marsala and my friend had Agnolotti
alla Panna, they both were to die for. Would I go back? At least
once a week for the rest of my life...

Though I've only ever eaten lunch here, the food has always
been quite good. The seafood entrees and specials are usually
your best bets, as well as some of the pastas. The dessert selections
are truely sinful! Tasteful decor, small, intimate atmosphere.

This place was excellent. I had the salmon in caper sauce and it
was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was dimly lit and romantic
and the staff were exceptionally friendly.
