A small restaurant with decent food. I would recommend eating here at least once to judge it for yourself. The service was really good. The food took a while to come out.

I love chinese food. This was one of the best places to eat ever. The food was exquisite. I would love it if it was a little closer to me.

A little expensive and the food isn't too great. It is one of the fancier restaurants in hawaii but not the best.

This is the BEST restaurant in Honolulu, hands down! Most of the appetizers are very delicious, and the 3 entrees that I've tried during my last 3 visist were unbelievable! The Onaga with Miso Sesame Vinaigrette, the Opakapaka with Truffle Nage, and the Garlic Steak - they are all TO DIE FOR !!!! The entrees alone are about $35 each, but this is a gourmet experience you cannot miss.

It's probably one of the most famous restaurants in Hawaii - and not without good reason. The service is excellent, the food is skillfully executed with lovely presentation, and it's fancy for Hawaiian standards. It all feels a little soulless to me, but if you want a fancy meal-you'll have a nice time.

I went here with my best friend last summer. It was superb. I had

the ahi tuna - fresh and thick. Great pina coladas and the infamous

Lava Flows! The dessert menu was great - friendly service and

awesome food!

This restaurant has foods that show the diverse cultures that live in hawaii. The food tastes great. The entree's range from about 20-40 dollars. They also have a 5 course or 7 course menu tasting.

"Wong" is chinese but his menus, I would say it's Pacific Rim. He has one restaurant on King Street which call "Alan Wong's" and he also have a restaurant call "Pinapple Room" in former Liberty House now Macy's in Ala Moana shopping center.

Correction to Daniel Iki's review...Alan Wong's restaurant hasn't moved. He's opened a less-expensive restaurant in Liberty House (Ala Moana) that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also, on the fourth floor of Liberty House he has a bakery, fruit-and-vegetable stand, and take-out food.

I've had the pleasure of dining at this fine establishment... Went all the way (appetizers, wine, entrees, dessert, kona coffee, etc.)... the bill came up to be close to $200!! Hey, I think it was well worth it! From the classy atmosphere to the professional service, I enjoyed every second of it (and I stayed there for a good three hours!). I highly recommend this place for anniversaries or romantic dinners, or you can be like me and just go there to try it!

Of all the top dog resturants on Oahu (Alan Wongs, Sam Choy's, Roy's) this my favorite. Okay, so it's expensive. Okay, so it's really expensive. Okay, so it's god awful expensive. It's totally worth it for splash out! The food is exquisite and the desserts are to die for, especially the creme brulee. The service is tops and I love all the baseball cap-wearing staff. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED...

This is, without a doubt, the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. Sure it's expensive: If you get out of here for less than $100/person you've wasted your time (and you're probably too much of a tightwad to really enjoy good food anyway). The atmosphere is wonderful (as long as you don't look down on King Street from the big front windows). The food is playful, well-prepared, beautifully presented, and movingly delicious. The staff is helpful, friendly, unobtrusive but totally attentive. EAT HERE. Even if you have to mortgage your house: EAT HERE.

Alan's Wongs is not a Chinese restaurant and they have also moved. They are now in Ala Moana Center and located in Liberty House. The food is Pacific Rim style. The presentation and taste is excellent. The deserts are out of this world. Considered one of the finest restaurants to eat at in Honolulu.
