NO! What are you thinking!? This terrible restaurant had only ONE good
thing, the smiling waiter.
The mole sauce on my chicken enchiladas tasted like brown cardboard.
My friend's fish special was drowned in a bland butter sauce, the
few bites I had left me wondering if I had lost my sense of taste.
Prices? Wow! $13 for two tacos? They charge extra for rice and beans
for a platter? They charge extra for pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese,
etc? Whoever heard of such a thing? At least the chips and salsa were
free! With a drink, tax, and tip (for the smiling waiter) we racked up
a $40 lunch!
My friend's special came with chocolate cake for dessert, which
was decent for Sysco frozen style, but not exactly TexMex.
This "hidden gem" is really just a lump of coal, in my opinion.

Picante's is a hidden gem for locals. I have been there over 30 times
and have had a great experience each and every time. The food is fresh,
well flavored and the service is quick. They also offer true Mexican
things that you won't find at Taco Bell and these are terrific as
well.

Very nice people and wonderfull food!!! This is the kind of restuarant
that makes you feel welcome with big smiles and huggs everywhere.
IF you are looking for some really good Mexican food but on a budget
and don't want to get all dressed up then this is the place to go.
Thank You Picante for the rose you gave me on Mothers Day! What
a nice surprise.
