Since it's not owned by Tony Knowles any more, I'd say it's worth a try! (Just couldn't bring myself to support that guy!)

It is ok. they do have good soup.. I like aplace with a changing daily soup so I liked that aspect. But I wish the service was more caring.

We had a very enjoyable breakfast at Sacks. Service was attentive and prompt. This came in handy as we only had 30 minutes in which to eat.

Nothing special here except being located downtown, and there are other restaurants downtown.... Be very clear what you want to order, expected to get kettle chips, ended up with a rainbow of multi-colored chips of some unknown origin.

Good place to grab lunch or a lite dinner if you're downtown. The soups are alwasy a good choice in the winters. They are made fresh and help warm you up. It's fun to eat lunch there in the summer, and sit out on the sidewalk to watch the tourist.

I don't think I will ever return to this restaurant. My last two visits the service was poor and the food was not very good. When I ordered an entree, they forgot to bring the crisps to put the sampler food on, and that just made it plain old difficult to eat. Ever since the Knowles family sold the Deli, it has gone downhill. It still attracts tourists in the summer because of the location, but even that will fade if they don't get some better help.
