If large portions and low prices are more important to you than indifferently prepared food, the Bake House is for you.

The food isn't bad; it just fails to be good.

Diverse menu with lots of great entrees. I love their burgers

with a side of fried onion strings. Plenty of delicious desserts

to choose from.

Resturant isnt spectacular. The enviorment is a bit stale, and so is the food, great service though.

Great food, good service and catering to boot. A varied and diverse menu, with International selections selections as well as home town favorites. They serve a killer Shrimp Salad sandwich with homemade potato salad and fruit for only $3.95. On weekends they offer a delicious Prime Rib dinner. They bake their own breads and pastries and every thing is always fresh and flavorful. I love this place!!!!!

This is a South Austin GEM!! Located in the heart of South Austin this is a converted Taco Bell resturant with all the style that makes South Austin THE place to be in town! The menu contains meals arranged in International order. No matter from which country you order your food, you will find the kitchen full of experts. I am particularly fond of the the South Austin (sensing a theme here?) Wellington. OH MY!! The carne of this delightful is ground steak and it is AMAZING!! I have tried to copy this receipe at home to no avail! GO GET SOME!!! The price is right, the location is fabulous(next door to a laudrymat!), and the desserts are from HEAVEN!!
