The best of the best. We love this restaurant. My husband used to balk at the idea of eating escargot, but now orders two orders just for himself. This is the place to go when you want a nice quiet dinner in a romantic atmosphere. The service is slow, which is exactly what you want... soak it all in. Take a tour of the wine cellar, it is like no other. Mary (the owner/drink hostess) is always a welcome sight.. what a crack up! Donna, the bar keep, makes one heck of a drink! I really reccomend the tangerine duck and cranberrry glazed cornish hen! The prime rib isn't bad either.

Treat yourself. Nothing can touch this restaurant in Hanford. Order the escargot (the BEST!!!!) and a great bottle of wine (they have an extensive collection) and enjoy yourself. Quality dining that compares to a big city experience (trust me!). Not to mention the great mix of people you will find there, anyone from 21-75, old timers and newbies all with the the right idea- a great night out! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food, wants to impress someone, or who has great taste. See you there next time I'm in town.

IMPERIAL DYNASTY IS NOT A CHINESE RESTAURANT AS THE NAME IMPLIES...CONTINENTAL FARE IS A MORE APPROPRIATE DESCRIPTION IN MY OPINION. ALTHOUGH EVERY DINNER IS ACCOMPANIED BY THEIR SIGNATURE EGG FOO YUNG, ENTREES RANGE FROM STEAKS, RIBS AND CHOPS TO PASTA. THEIR ESCARGOT APPETIZER IS TO DIE FOR!! THEY HAVE WON AN AWARD FOR THEIR SNAILS CONSISTENTLY FOR GOOD REASON. FOR THOSE INTERESTED, THIS USED TO BE A FAVORITE RESTAURANT OF WALT DISNEY WHO WOULD FLY IN TO HANFORD BY PERSONAL JET ON A REGULAR BASIS, DRAWN THERE PRIMARILY BY THE WONDERFUL ESCARGOT. AMBIANCE, QUALITY OF FOOD AND PORTION SIZE ARE ALL SUPERIOR, AS IS SERVICE BY WAIT STAFF. WELL WORTH THE PRICE!
