The steaks and tri tip are great and they have huge dinner salads. They have prime rib on the weekends only. The wait on weekends can exceed an hour but you can order some appetizers in the bar while you wait--if you can find a seat at the bar! The atmosphere and dress are California Casual--you'll find plenty of people there in shorts and T-shirts. They don't serve lunch at the one in Camarillo but the one in Moorpark does.

You can get drawn just driving by then you get in the restaurant, tritip steak and BBQ are out of this world. Just like a magnet. Keeps you going back over and over again. KHC

This place is awesome. It you're heading for LA and want some great food once you're over the Grapevine then head for Valencia and Woodranch BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a fantastic restaurant. I work for a company headquartered in Camarillo. When I come to town, I eat at Woodranch every night. Great steaks, ribs, salads, and a good selection of brews. The place always has a line but I eat at the bar. It's fun and I always meet interesting people. They say Woodranch is the best too. The restaurant must be good because it's only open for dinner.

Everything Nancy says is true... The steaks are the best I've had. Dress nicely, and expect to wait (but its worth every minute).

This is some of the best BBQ around! They have all sorts of meats they barbeque and it is all wonderful. Do not miss the peanut coleslaw or the onion rings- they are both superb. If you doubt the greatness of this establishment- just drive by on a Friday night and look at the people waiting out front! They do not take reservations except for large groups; we beat the crowds by going early (4-4:30) and catching a movie afterwards. The desserts are wonderful, too.
