I really like their clams, of course, but I also loved the grilled garlic prawns over cheese ravioli's, with lots of fresh basil and it was fantastic! My friend had the clam chowder and said it was one of the best that she has had. The service was very good, although at one point I felt like they wanted us to hurry and finish so they could get in another seating. I would rather sit in the bar section it feels less rushed.

For dinner, I had the swordfish with lobster sauce. The swordfish was nice though I thought the lobster sauce was a bit strong and the swordfish steaks were a bit thin. The restaurant has a darker dining room connected to a bar area.

You can figure lunch is a bit cheaper...above average food. Pizza is very good....very heavy pizza....not the thin, light duty stuff. Seafood, and Italian is also good. Eaten, and tasted about 10 different dishes and enjoyed them all. Worth a regular stop.

Enjoyed this restaurant. Something on the menu for everyone. Our group of 5 had pasta and seafood entrees and all of us were pleased. Two of our group are regulars and have not been disappointed by this restaurant. Good size portions at a fair price. Service the night we were there was very attentive.

This restaurant is Mike's Original By-The-Bucket" 4565 Stevens Creek Blvd, Santa Clara. Pizza, seafood, sandwiches, more. Something for everyone. Everything from Southern Style Catfish to seafood to Pizza here. A varied menu to suit the tastes of a family or group of Silicon Valley employees who cannot agree on what they want to eat. Reasonably priced and of good quality. Meals are moderately priced ($7 to $15 for entrees). Food is not excellent, but it is good.
