Agree with the comments made concerning the brisket. The hot links
are also good and their pork is exceptional. The problem I've experienced
is that the side orders are not at the same level as their barbeque. The
baked beans, sweet potatoes and other sides are very disapointing.
The red lemonade is too sweet, and the cornbread is so so. I hate to say
it, but I buy only the barbeque to go, then buy the side orders somewhere
else!

They give you lots of ribs that are very flavorful and the sides of beans/corns/potatoes
are good too.

Famous restaurant reviewer Elmer Dills is also fond of this place.
Excellent and authentic Texas BBQ rib stand type restaurant.
Casual, picnic style seating. Everything on the menu is outstanding.
BBQ beans are terrific, with a hint of whipped sweet potatoes
in the sauce. For take out orders, they provide you with extra
BBQ sauce provided in a medicine bottle type container.
Highest recommendation.

Consistently rated the best barbecue in Los Angeles. I agree.
I also agree with the other comments about the side dishes - they
are OK, but all of the barbecue entrees are sublime! The wait
staff, many of whom have been there for years, are fond of
calling customers "Hon, " as in "Can I get you a refill on that
iced tea, Hon?" In true LA fashion, the current owner is Korean,
another nation justly famous for its own style of barbecue, but
the
recipe and methods, acquired from the original owner and founder,
are pure East Texas. You'd have to travel to Longview, Texas,
to
get more authentic Texas BBQ!

The brisket melts in your mouth and believe me you will leave with
a dogge bag.
Try it you will love it
