When you read some of these reviews, you wonder if the reviewer(s) was
off his/her medications or just on drugs. I've been going to this
place since the 60's. First of all, it has an excellent garlic cheese
bread, never had cheese toast and never will. Second, the cole slaw
is fresh and the BBQ sauce (in House and for sale by the bottle) is to die
for. Excellent tri-tip and juicy broasted chicken. Good ribs and sandwiches
and BBQ beans like nowhere else. Desserts include Cheesecake Factory
Cheesecakes.

Sorry folks, the brisket was not slow smoked, (thats BBQ) just grilled
no flavor. The sauce was fine. The Garlic cheese toast (TEXAS TOAST)
was very good. The Slaw was a day old, weak flavor sauce. The Service
was fine. It was not BBQ. I hope I just caught them on a bad day. Disappointing.
They have quite the local reputation too. I actually traveled 20 miles
in LA traffic too.

First of all, I love the fact that this place is family owned. The best
thing about My Brother's BBQ is their Texan BBQ Beef Sandwich.
It is filled with lean strips of meat and a great BBQ sauce. On the side
I would recommend getting fries and an extra side of beans. My rating is based on the Texan Beef. There are entrees, but eat them
at your own risk. Very inconsistent in this area. It could be the best
broasted chicked one night, and indeible another. Order the Texan, enjoy it, and come back to this great place.

My Brother's BBQ has been located in the same location since the
1960's. I have had both lunch and dinner here and have enjoyed
all of those meals. Not a "special" restaurant, just a place you
can trust to serve a good meal at an affordable price...

My Brother's, located on Venture Boulevard in Woodland Hills,
has been in business for many years and continues to offer diners
some very nice BBQ choices. I have been eating (lunches and dinners
alike) here since the early 1970's, so that must say something
about the food. Pretty good BBQ, and a friendly staff...

Good BBQ restaurant, with a decor which is a cross between a Love's
BBQ Restaurant of the 1970s and a coffee shop or steak house of
the same era.
The BBQ is on par with what you would expect out of a Love's or other
small chain of BBQ restaurants.
Sandwiches come in REGULAR (3oz meat on burger type bun) or TEXAS
SIZED (4 oz meat on large roll).
Nothing unexpected or special here, but it is good, hot, satisfying
and affordable barbecue.
Entrees typically run in the $8-$12 range. Sandwiches come with
a choice of BBQ Beans, fries or slaw. BBQ beef, chicken, pork and
turkey slices are available.
BBQ beans are small navy beans cooked in the BBQ sauce. The sauce
is not too sweet - just about right. It has small bits of BBQ beef
suspended in the sauce with the beans.
The BBQ beef sandwich is slow roasted beef slices topped with
BBQ sauce after roasting -- as opposed to beef cooked in the BBQ
sauce after roasting. Good, but not terrific ...
