i visited this place the other day for take out. i had better service doing a to go order than you get dining in at most places. this is among the best chinese food i have had in years. the pork fried rice and chicken chow mein are the best

I've visited the Shang Hai Restaurant on a regular basis over a period of 3 years and have always been impressed. The staff are friendly and helpful with menu selections. The food is tasty and hot and is served promptly. The offering of take-out food is what really attracted my attention, as then I can order for in-office meetings. Everyone at work loves it when I order Chinese food for the meetings! I personally know the owner, Pang Chu Bai, and he is a wonderful friend and business person. His restaurants exist all over the Reno/Sparks area and I visit each of them when I get a chance.
