I used to frequent this place on a weekly place after performing at the Barn Dinner Theatre back in 1982. Listening to Kay Pearson singing at the piano bar was a tremendous plus. I even played there as a substitute pianist/vocalist. Great fun!

The New Chinatown is no more. It is now called "Mr. K"
or something like that. No big loss, as the last time I ate there,
it was overpriced and in a terrible location in Albuquerque.
The original Chinese restaurant in town, it now exists only as
a memory.

Price is a little steep fer what ya get. I love chinease but i'd
have to say i've had much better. The pork wasn't to bad
but the lemmon chicken isnt even worth paying for. My girl got
food poisonig too so that kinda makes me a little byast..as far
as service they are always very very polite and helpful.

This was the original Chinese dining establishment in Albuquerque.
It is a landmark on Central Avenue. The general area where it sits
is not a desireable area by any sense but they have private parking
and the atmosphere, food, and service make it worth it. I went
there twenty years ago for the first time and have been back as
I travel through and nothing changes. That it has an excellent
luncheon buffet is a plus.

A little expensive. But they do have a good seniors plate and have
let me order it, even though I am not a senior. It has a variety of
things - two main dishes and an egg roll and rice. Pretty good stuff.
They have wonderful chocolate dipped fortune cookies. Usually
you can get in quickly and service is pretty good.
