REVIEW: LOTUS CAFE
Hackensack, New Jersey MARCH 23, 2006
201-488-7070
RATING: 5 STAR Dinning
I was first introduced to Lotus Cafe in 1994. The President of Campos
& Stratis, CPA Investigative auditing firm would order lunch
for the entire office. The selection of chinese dishes are endless.
The restuarant is a white linen candle lite table setting--- Very charming.
The cost is affordable. It is obvious the owner takes great pride in
this business.
For more than 10 years-- I have enjoyed every dish at Lotus Cafe. I have
contracted Lotus Cafe for many corporate and personal functions.
Yamanouchi Pharma America contracted Lotus Cafe to caterer corporate
lunch meetings monthly for more than 40-50 people at a time. In addition,
I have contracted their services for (offsite)Weddings and Birthday
parties.
The Lotus Cafe is a wonderful place to go for lunch, dinner, with friends
and family.
HAND DOWN, LOTUS CAFE IS THE BEST chinese Restaurant in Tri-State Area ...

If you want a Chinese restaurant with a menu identical to pretty
much every other Chinese restaurant, this is NOT the restaurant
for you.
High quality food, excellent noodle dishes, and dishes you won't
see everywhere (or anywhere) else (can have more oil than some
tastes, but they will cut back on oil if you ask).

Apparently, it has taken a turn for the better. Don't let the mall
exterior fool you; this is a restaurant equivalent to New York's
Chinatown restaurants in quality.
The food is fresh, and there is a selection of dishes that goes
well beyond the usual you find in Chinese take-out joints. Try
especially the noodle and seafood dishes.

Typical Chinese menu/takeout/delivery. Had been a lot better
but has recently taken a turn for the worse. Hopefully this is
temporary.
