Pretty good bar and grill menu. The key to this place is actually
the entertainment and proximity to the marina and the river.
The entire Anchor Inn complex has grown tremendously over the
past ten years....wide variety of bands playing outdoors during
the summer...sometimes better than others, but always a pretty
relaxed and fun loving audience that is pretty diverse. Nice
to enjoy a burger and fries while people watching and listening
to tunes. I visit the Anchor Inn several times every summer...recommend
it to music, sun, and boating fans.
Located adjacent to a bustling marina, the anchor inn is a convenient
place for boaters to grab a bite to eat...and you will also see
others from throughout the city come to the Anchor Inn for the
musical groups that play there frequently. It is also located
between downtown and the airport, so it is relatively easy to
find once you get through the construction area on Abbott Drive.
The summers are a real treat...outdoor concerts, beer, sandwiches,
lots of dancing, fun for a wide range of customers. The food is
nothing to write home about, but it is reasonably priced and really
hits the spot...especially if just coming in off a day on the river.
