Simple and unsophisticated... what more could you ask for in
a hamburger joint? Great shakes and great burgers with pretty
fast service. A KC restaurant staple for decades.

This place dates way back to drive up in downtown north kc. The
best steak-burgers ever. The special malts are similar to Wendys
Frostys but thicker and better..Nothing beats them. I like thier
steak fries serves hot on a plate with lots of ketchup and salt.
They have other food items ..but they are known for thier steak
burgers..Highly recommend this place!

This is literally and figuratively the crown jewel of Kansas
City restaurants. It rotates high atop the Crown Center hotel-office-shopping
complex, providing great views of the city. But the food is even
better, some of the finest in town. It's fairly expensive by Kansas
City standards but visitors from large cities won't blink at
the price for such outstanding meals.

The best hamburgers and fries and shakes in town. I always get
a double and the Special Chocolate Shake. Everyone loves Winsteads
its the classic American food that even the kids dig!

A great place for a burger and a shake. They serve a "shake" that
is like a Frosty at Wendy's--only better! Diner atmosphere,
chrome and waitresses who are mature and helpful. Good family
place, and kind to smokers.
