The atmosphere is great. Great chance to meet people on the island. The cheifs are exciting and fun to watch. The steak was great. The shrimp was great. The sushi platter was great. Also the mushroom soup was good too. The drinks were delightful and the Japanese wine was the best.

Excellent food and service! Make sure you have a reservation if you don't want to wait. They have valet parking so make sure you get there early. Quite a show. The chef cooks the food right at your table. The dipping sauces were incredible! The steak and shrimp were both cooked perfectly. The only disappointment was their drink prices. A little too expensive. But the food and show were well worth it.

You MUST use the valet parking if you drive and don't want a major headache. More for the show than the food. Invaded by tourists all the time. You never get your reserved table on time, and wait in the bar for up to one hour. It's a place you take out of towners.

A well established Japanese Teppanyaki steak house. The atmosphere was decent and service was receptive. The performance overall was okay, maybe that was due to my table having an inexperienced chef... I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection and just melted in my mouth... really splendid! The bill came out to be quite substantial, good thing I had my Entertainment card!

Kobe is one of the resaurants that is typical tepan entertainment. I have visited the location several times and have always been happy with the service and food. If you are staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village or at the Ilikai Hotel it is just a few minutes walk. Well worth the short cooking entertainment. Don't wear your best you will always walk away with some kind of smell on you. But this is the style of Teppan Yaki... (Grill Cooking)

Kobe is just your classic teppan steakhouse. Your typical variety of entrees, made special of course, because they cook it right in front of you and give you the cooking show made popular at Benihana's. Every meal we've had here has been good. You'll pay tourist prices though since you're in Waikiki and this is on the main drag on Ala Moana. Check the local tourist magazines available along most of the streets and you'll probably find a deal for here. They have evening and late evening happy hours. It's worth the dollar or two to use the valet parking too. Make sure you get hot sake!
