All reviews discussing waiting/crowds are right on the money. But
the burgers ARE delish and while I wouldn't drive all the way up
North Shore from Kaneohe ONLY to go there, if I'm in that neck of
the woods and they're not too packed out, I'd stop in a heartbeat!
Like others, I love the avacado on mine! Fries are perfect. Fun little
piece of old style hippie town business.

Burgers are kind of dry. Takes a while for you food. I didn't see
anything special about this place.

Kua Aina has arguably the best burgers ever! ...gourmet additions
like avocado, grilled peppers & onions and mushrooms, leave
even the neatest eaters stretching their lips & wiping the
drips! Store location is small & tight, but line moves fast
& when you're waiting for the best, that's all that
matters!

Great Burgers! This place is too small, but the crowds move through
pretty quickly. They have a store in Japan as well! I was suprised,
popular there also.

Great burger joint. The space for the place is small though and
it gets crowded since people like the burgers.

The space is a little crowded. That's because the food is so good,
people are more willing to wait. It's a good excuse to take you
food with you and eat on the beach! There are beautiful pictures
adorning the walls to admire while you wait for your food. Some
are of art and some are candide shots. My husband and I always stop
here together as though we are on a date. Ono!

I don't know why it's taken us so long to get to this place. We love
it!! We drive past it all the time, and it always looked packed.
So, we tried it last night and were very pleased. I have a 8yr old
(hard to please) and she loved her "Kiddie Burger". My hubby had
the Bacon Burger, and he said there were at least 5 pieces of bacon
on his burger. My cheeseburger was excellent, and all burgers
are made to order. We ordered one large order of fries, and it was
more than enough for all of us. This will definitely be one of our
favorite new local kine grinds.

Kua Aina is the best burger joint on the island. It's known
far and wide because of the best hamburgers you can find
on O`ahu, and the best fries as well. There's not much room to
"dine" here, so you do what everyone does. You either grab a
table outside or grind 'em in your car as you pass through
Haleiwa town. The avocado bacon burger is worth every dime!
You'll leave satisfied!
It's a burger joint. Not a dining room atmosphere. And it's
the best bang for the buck on the northshore.

Probably the best hamburger joint in town although the one on
Monsarratt runs a close second (and gaining). Worth the car drive
to Haleiwa for us townies and definitly better than the Ward location.
For me, I always order the avocado bacon burger with a side of cheese
and those ono french fries...da best!
