I would give this Hotel an excellent rating, although sometimes I have had to "wrestle" with desk clerk because we are on government rates (no tax)and they don't want to be bothered with that, and room service is difficult if not impossible at night unless you want a full-blown meal. Other than that, the hotel's rooms are quite nice and clean, the grounds beautiful and well kept, the interior lobby western-elegant and the restaurant is decent, but no five star rating on that for sure!

Located at the intersection of I-25 and I-80 this 'truckers resort' was a pleasure to dine in. The service was very good, the prices reasonable and the atmosphere was 'different'....like an early 1900's different. Next time I will attend their Sunday brunch (~$20 for champagne brunch) I have heard it is first-rate.

This is the epitome of the old style grand hotel dining room. What you pay here nets you a meal of elegant taste and presentation. The servers, decor, food quality and presentation all go towards remembering a day gone by when the hotel(and department store) restaurant were something special. Great breakfasts to get you ready for the road..
