A special place to visit. It is something to look forward to. However,
the last time that I went, the server at the bar area brought me a margarita
in a hot glass. There was a loud cracking sound and the glass literally
cracked. The server took it back and quickly returned with a margarita
in another glass. That was fast (to remake the drink) I asked if this
was a new drink, she replied, "No, he poured it in" I had to
ask for a manager, ask them to remedy the issue. Manager looked annoyed.
Seriously? BROKEN GLASS CONSUMPTION=lawsuit! I saved them and myself
and others by trying to bring it to their attention. I was not upset.
So, for this experience, 2 stars.

This restaurant is a real find and shouldn't be missed when
in El Paso. The food is similiar to mom's with the cole slaw,
potato salad and beans fresh and tasty. The bread is great the
the portions are generous to be taken out in a doggy bag enough
for an additional meal!!! Great atmosphere!

My family and I frequent this restaurant as much as possible considering
that it is a two hour drive away. We love this place and feel that
it is literally the BEST place to eat RIBS, SAUSAGE, BRISQUET,
THE HOMEMADE BREAD, POTATOE SALAD, COLE SLAW AND THE BEANS ARE
JUST OUTSTANDING!!! We cannot lie and say that we have tasted
any other dinners--we just love the rib platter--so we have stuck
to it.

I love this place. Has the best BBQ brisket you will ever taste.
Every thing I have ever ordered has been excellent and I have tried
to sample everything. The price is very reasonable for what you
get. You won't leave hungry. Everyone should try this place
at
least once. Has a lot of atmosphere also. The courtyard outside
makes waiting a pleasure.

Great place to go when you have family in town and want to go out
to eat.Best BBQ-Ribs i ever had..The steaks are great.When we
do go there we are always taking food home to eat for later..

The wife and i only went here two times but i can tell you your in
or a treat. The food is so good you wont want to leave. Just try the
steak.

The time to go there is at lunch. The lunch platters are quite big
and the cost goes from about $12 at dinner to about $7 for lunch.
Slaw is out of this world and the bbq is simply the best and always
consistant. I personally think the complimentary bread is just
as good as the bread you have to pay for. By the by, it straddles
the state line, hence the name.
