I wish it weren't so, but unfortunately, the Metro is no more. It was wiped out by a construction project for the Univ. of Tulsa. It's been gone for several years now, but will never be forgotten by those of us who had been patrons. We still have several great 50's diner type places in Tulsa, but none that SCREAMED 50's from 3 blocks away.

Standard diner, with great burgers and shakes. It's also a bit retro, so it's got a nice ambience. Check it out!

Good stable diner. Over the years the quality has fallen, though it is still acceptable. Fries and gravy are quite good.

A great place to go eat burgers and fries just like back in the good old fifties, good american food, and a really cool atmosphere. The only thing missing is the poodle skirts and bobby socks.

May 18th 2, 000 This is a great place to take your out of town company. Back in the 5o!s. The hamburgers and fries were great and the cherry coke yummy

This restaurant is straight out of the 50s, with memorabilia on every wall and rock 'n roll playing in the background. The wait staff carry coin changers and are attired in concert with the diner theme. The menu features American fare and the delicious daily specials are excellent at about $6. Breakfast is moderately priced and well prepared. The Metro recently obtained a liquor license and serves a mean $.99 Marguerita!

This was a must see, must eat experience right out of the past, parking was a little difficult, but the Cherry Vanilla Dr.Pepper was a blast with the very tastey meal. For nostalgia buffs this is a plus with all the records and old radios and t.v.'s and coke stuff. Loved it and will go back for more
