Although the waitstaff were friendly, this place was a total mess when I went. The dessert bar was covered in dropped gummi bears and spilled caramel sauce. The meat selection looked unappetizing and picked over. The floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed yet that day and it was nearly 19:00. The only foods I can recommend are the salad bar and the rolls.

Sorry folks, but this place is highly over-rated. It stretches the imagination to even call this place 'average'. The food is the typical bulk-prepared, tasteless fare seen at every run-of-the-mill buffet around the country. They'll not get another of my dollars .... I'll go to Burger King first. It always amazes me how folks will flock in to scarf up food like that served here, just because they think they're getting a bargain. It's no bargain. It's very 'low average' at best. Drive on by and find another place. You'll be glad you did.

Barnhill's is the place to go if you are not sure what you want or everyone wants something different. The choices can be over whelming and you almost always overeat. The mashed potatoes and gravy and biscuits are like homemade. Fish and steak are very good. The salad bar has a large variety from caesar salad to macaroni salad and usually fruit as well. Dieters can do well if they are disciplined. It is a large place and well patronized, so it is not the place to go for an intimate meal. I would like a little bigger selection of desserts.

Love the place. Good food and so close to home. I practically live just across the street. They have huge selection of food to choose from but the one I like best is the steak. The staff are very friendly as well. They definitely deserve my 5 stars for the excellent food at affordable price, location-wise, and the courteous staff.
