The Alley Rose is located downtown, but how much traffic can you have
in Kearney, Nebraska? The best thing we found about Alley Rose was the
wine list. It's 30 pages long, but they use the labels right off
the bottle, so it's easy for old folks to recognize something they
remember. Now if I can just remember whether I liked it or not!!
They had a red wine special the night we rolled into town, and I got a bottle
of 5 River Pinot Noir for $22.50 AND we got to keep the Alley Rose wine
glasses. I'm having a little Bogle Sauvignon Blanc out of it right
now, back here in the hills of Kentucky.
We also had a nice pork loin entree (in wine sauce - what else)and a raspberry/blackberry
flambe dessert!
I haven't eaten anywhere else in Kearney, but if I'm ever back
out there in the Great Plains, Me and William Clark, and Sakakawea are
all stopping back at the Alley Rose.

and the service superb. Great place for a "date" with
or without the kids.

I like to eat in the bar and their potato caseroles are good. The
salad bar has a nice variety and is always fresh.

The Alley Rose has the wonderful atmosphere of an old style supper
club, while offering extremely good service. The entree's are
more toward a gourmet style. You will find something that appeals
to everyone. For the best experience of the Rose's atmosphere,
be sure to sit in the lounge area.

This is a fancier restaurant. This is where most people go out
to eat for a special occasion.
