Food is alright, typical bar food. The atmosphere is great, lots
of room and the seating is spread out well. Huge bar and lots of
people behind it, which always works in our favor.

Great place to go to watch games, get some bar food and drink lots
of beer. Close to the arena so a great meeting place to grab a drink
before and after!

A great place if it's your birthday, well maybe. Definitely not a great place if it's anyone else's birthday. They do the usual thing where they gather the waiters to sing. That's not so bad. But, at some regular interval they play this prerecorded birthday song over the PA really loud. It's not "Happy
Birthday." Oh no, that would be too dull. No, they play a 5 minute long birthday song written and recorded especially for the Nitty Gritty. It's cute for about 20 to 25 seconds and then it wears really really thin. By the time it's over you wish that there were some way that people could not have birthdays. The food there is okay. I had a club sandwich that was competently
made. The fries were fine. Meh. The service was very good. Our waitress was fast and attentive. It's not a bad place for what it is.

This is the place to be for your birthday! Free beer or soda on that
day. The food wasn't bad, but the burgers that were to die
for as was hyped to me didn't live up to their reputation.
Nonetheless, the food was good. The pictures on the wall were
very entertaining. This is definitely a place where noise is
the key theme. If you want a quiet place, go somewhere else. If
you want to have fun and be silly, go here! One knock is that trying
to find parking was a chore.

This place was fun 20 some years ago and has not slowed down a bit!!!
Great burgers, fries and FUN atmosphere. Collage crowd, but
even us old folk have a good time!

Fried Cheese Curds, Woohoo!!! They come with some kind of delicious
dipping sauce. Some kind of salad dressing probably but really
good.
Prime Rib Sandwich, Oh Yeah!!! This was excellent. It was a great
cut of meat. Loaded with flavor and so tender. This was a year ago,
so I don't know anything about Nitty Gritty's now, but then it
was fantastic.
This is a good place to go when you are looking for crowds and good
times. It's loud and fun. I'm looking forward to going back sometime.
