Quite possibly Omaha's most unique restaurant. Let's begin
with the building, I wasn't sure whether I was going to eat or if
I had just stepped into a J.R.R. Tolkien novel. Architecture aside,
I loved this place. The food was great, I had a guacamole appetizer,
the meatless hamburger, with seasoned french fries. AMAZING, I really
didn't miss the meat and I am as carnivorous as they come. The service
was excellent and I have been back on a number of occasions with the same
great experience. The restaurant is a bit small, but never crowded.
There is a bit of a hippy/bohemian feel to the place, but it is endearing
and unique. If you're in the mood for something different and healthy,
give McFosters a try.

I have dined at McFoster's during the luncheon period...the
service was excellent and the atmosphere was simple but comfortable.
The vegetarian fare that my dining partner(a vegetarian) and
I have had is fresh and palatable but not extraordinary. Although
I have not attended an evening function when the entertainment
is playing, it is my understanding that it is enjoyable.

If you enjoy vegitarian food with a nice touch this is the place.
A nice choice of entree's. Some spicy, some not. Great natural
breads
and beverages. The service is friendly and nice.
The entertainment I saw leans to the folk and torch songs style,
very good
and they took requests. The music won't blow you away and you don't
have to yell.
