Just a nice down home place to eat. It is one of my favorites. We go everythime

They cook steaks to perfection. I am a huge steak fan and get one at almost
every place we eat, if its available. I have had the steak here a few times
and haave yet to be disappointed. I love this place and get treated great
by the staff every time.

One of the oldest steakhouses in Omaha, and one of the best. Great
atmostphere and great service. They have a reputation to uphold,
and they do so with great style. Wonderful place to bring out of
town visitors for a taste of Omahas beef heritage. Every steak
I've ordered here has been done to perfection.

At first I thought this place was just your average steakhouse.
Boy was I surprised! The inside looked nothing like I had imagined...
very elegant. The steak here was very, very good as well. Same
goes for the service. This place gets an A in my book!

Johnny's is more of a steakhouse than a cafe...one of the
last of the real Omaha steakhouses from the pre-chain steakhouse
days. Excellent portion sizes. Not necessarily gourmet food,
but a good solid meal in a nice facility adjacent to what was once
the famous Omaha stockyards.

When friends told us they were taking us to dinner at Johnny's
Cafe we were expecting a little roadside diner. Were we
surprised at the elegant atmosphere! Understand this is an
established restaurant in the heart of the old Omaha stockyard
district. Prime rib and steaks are superb! The staff is very
attentive. Great place for a relaxing dinner with friends and
family. Can't wait to go there again but will have difficulty
choosing between filet mignon and prime rib!
