From the previous reviews i see on here are hella old. They don't know what they are talking about. Olive garden has to be one of the best italian restaurants out there. I LOVE OLIVE GARDEN. The chicken parmigiana with fettuccini alfredo is to die for.. hmm and the breadsticks that you can dip on alfredo sauce is soo yummy. The soup is good too, i get the pasta feijole which has beans, ground beef, onios, carrots, macaroni etc. I always go to this olive garden or the one in Palo Alto.... The only reason i dont give this restaurant 5 stars instead of 4 is because the wait is soooo long when you go at dinner time. They need to open more Olive Garden's in San Jose.

Don't waste your time.....too expensive and the food is probably pre-frozen
I do like the soup/salad lunch combo....however, getting a refill of soup requires a flair shot into the air....service sucks

my dad hates the olive garden. i'm okay w/ it. i am not my dad. he says it's just like eating microwaved frozen dinners. true, it is. but it's like eating better than average microwaved frozen dinners! what's good 'bout the olive garden? their breadsticks, salad, n' soup; all the freebies. yes, the appetizer sampler plate can be yummy in all it's greasy goodness. i don't like how they try to sell u wine. do i drink wine @ mc donald's or togo's? well, the olive garden is a typical "standby" restaurant. when u can't think of newhere else to eat, go there. i tend to order pasta or chicken dishes there.

If you're an "ALL YOU CAN EAT" type of person, this place is for you. The setting is nice for a chain, and I actually enjoy the food. The help is young and eager. Perfect to bring your young children and watch the new bus boy cut his teeth on cleanup duty.

This place can hardly be beat for the soup and salad combo for lunch. That's my favorite lunch in any restaurant. Fine Italian cuisine -- nope. But what they say they provide they follow through with. For that I commend them. They do not pretend to be haute cuisine. We've been to several in different parts of the state. Yep, it's cookie-cutter the same.

Why would anyone want to go to this place? This is not Italian food, it is conveyer belt rations. Our favorite dish was the sampler which had the same industrial red sauce on each item. Pass.
