We had lunch here before heading home from the Celtic Festival.
Service was very, very slow. The food was nothing more than average
tasting, nothing to go back for.

Not a bad place to eat, if you have really good, strong teeth. The
food here is pretty hard. We played table hockey while we waited
for our food, and I bounced a dinner roll off our table and chipped
my water glass with it. (Seriously!)
By the way, this place has the nastiest water on the planet, so
don't be too shocked if your soda, coffee, whatever tastes like
lagoon water.
I got the hamburger steak, and the cook's idea of well-done is
to prepare it resembling a hockey puck, so be cautious when you
say "well done, please."
The lemon pie was great, the waitress very friendly and knowledgable
about the considerable amount of Civil War history of the area,
and the restaurant was very clean--rather surprising for a tourist
area.
All in all, not bad...but if you're really hungry, try to hold
out until you get to downtown Ironton and eat at the Kozy Korner
Kafe! You won't be sorry!
