I've written a previous review but since I have had the BEST
thing on the menu, chocolate cheesecake enrobed with coffee
ice cream and hot fudge...FANTASTIC!!!
Nice decor, a comfortable restaurant, quite a change from the
1970's when it was an 18-25 year old drinking crowd in a beer
garden atmosphere. The food is good and the bread is fantastic.
Good selection of beer.
This is a good place to go for a meal or after a show. The menu is interesting
and I have never had anything I would complain about. The desserts
are awesome. The atmosphere is cosy. It is located in an area that
doesn't have many other restaurants.
I've been going to this restaurant for many years. It's an oasis
in a city that's otherwise short on good places to eat. The food
is always fresh, the desserts are stupendous and they even get
good locally brewed beer. My only objection to this place is that
they are not open enough when I'm off.
I enjoy the beer and vegatarian entrees. I haven't been in awhile
but the used to make a wonderful acord squash and rice dish that
is just wonderful. It is a bit of a wait for it to cook (about 45 mins)
but it is yummy.
