This place has gone down hill in the past several years. The wait staff is pushy and ruin the whole atmosphere and make it not worth the trip out. Save your money and go somewhere else, the food is a 5/10 at best and the service a 0/10....rude and snobby.

The Red Hawk is another great Michigan bar; it's just located in a bigger city then some of the other great ones like the Bellaire Bar or the Silver Slipper. If I ever get snowed in in Ann Arbor in the winter, I hope I'm at the Red Hawk!

Enjoy Red Hawk's food and beverage. It's a nice place to go for a quick meal prior to a concert or play at nearby venues like Hill Auditorium, Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre or Power Center, which are all within easy walking distance. One needs to arrive early, however (5:30 - 6) as seating is limited and Red Hawk does not usually seat parties unless everyone is present. After that waits are normal, with only a small bar area or a very cramped entranceway available. Food is good and ample for the price.

Like Red Hawk a lot. I think their portions can be a bit skimpy and they took their time instituting a diner oriented smoking policy. But 3 or 4 times a year for the Hawk.

I love the specialty pizzas here and the chips and salsa are top notch. The sandwiches are gigantic but high quality. Good beer and wine list. Small place though so be ready to wait for a table.

very good burgers and beef dishes. the drinks are also made top notch. great atmosphere but not enough room for the crowd it attracts. call ahead.
