I have lived in Racine my whole life. The Corner House was always a special place to go to. I go about once a year now and I have to say the food and some of the staff is awful. I was there last night and McDonalds has a better salad then they do. They also charged me for blue cheese dressing, but I was not told this and only found out once I recieved my bill. The waitress never once came to our table to as us how our meal was. I had stuffed shrimp with crab meat after my first choice was not available. My first choice was on the "specials" menu. I would think they should take it off if they don't have it. There are so many better places in Racine for a good meal. This place is over priced and the decor could be updated. Looks like the same place I use to go to when I was a kid, and I am now 42 years old.

Absolutely THE best prime rib i EVER had. The way to order it is
"charred" one level below what you normally order.
In other words if you like it medium, order it charred medium rare.
They char it just prior to serving and it melts in your mouth. The
Prime is their specialty and my goodness, do they know how to make
it. I challenge anyone to find it better anywhere. Hungry just
thinking of it.
