As visitors to Grand Rapids, our friends took us to their favorite places and this was near the top of the list. Now I know why! The steak was cooked just right and the portions were large. Not ony good food, but a fun place to enjoy a meal. We will be back.

Ok this place is the very good. Try the stuffed mushrooms for an even better deal get the create as sampler and get three boats of mushrooms for less tha the price of two if ordered individually.

Whether you're sitting in the gar or in the dining room, this place feels like Texas. Their bread is very good and the steaks are right there too. Also, you get free in the shell peanuts. You can't complain about that! I go there almost everytime I'm in GR.

Many tables have a view of the Grand River, ask for a table and you can often find yourself with a very nice view. The house salad and hosue dressing is definately worth a try. Sweet potatoes are offered and very good. (Regular potatoes are alos available!) All portions are huge! Speciality is steak and lots of it! The chicken kabobs are good too! This palce is very busy. If planning on dining on the weekend, call for reservations or arrive early! Plenty of parking. Dinner menu is available in the bar and an alternative during peek hours.

Interesting setting, but with large portions of red meat and plenty of drink you can't go wrong.
