Among the best Middle Eastern you can get outside of Dearborn. This
Michigan chain does it right, good menu, decent prices. Shwarma is
outstanding.

For our Valentine's Day dinner, my boyfriend and I went to La Shish
- a restaurant with somewhat pricey, but extremely delicious food.
The problem was the service. Realizing we wouldn't be able to go out to dinner until around 9
p.m., I called the restaurant ahead of time and asked the host what time
they stopped seating customers. He said 9:45. We arrived at 9, and the
restaurant was less than busy, but still had a few tables. We were seated,
and then proceeded to wait ... and wait ... and wait. It was obvious what
the issue was. The waiters all wanted to go home, and didn't want
to have another table to wait on. My boyfriend and I sat and watched as
three different waiters argued (in seeing and hearing distance from
our table) with their managers about how they didn't want to take
another table. Now, I know that this might be a common conversation
to be had in a restaurant, but the customer seated at the table on their
special occasion should never be made to feel not ...

It's a great place for lunch but tends to be quite busy. The
bread and garlic spread or "salsa" is fantastic.

Love the marinated chicken! They have freshly baked bread and
yummy garlic sauce. The crushed lentil soup is delicious! The
service gets kind of slow but friendly. The atmosphere is very
nice.

already said, but its not chinese, its middle-eastern. Great
if you like that type of food. I particularly dislike mid-eastern
food, and was at a disadvantage in finding something i liked.
My friends all however, really enjoyed the place and food. I found
the atmosphere to be quite unique to mid eastern cuizine. So if
you like mid eastern food, definatley stop by, otherwise its
not for you.

Definitely not Chinese-Lebanese all the way. Great food, very
friendly service. Favorite dish is the chicken saji-a little
spicy. Served with outstanding potatoes. Chicken Wings are
very spicy-order sauce on the side if ordering for child.

MIddle Eastern at it's best. Get the La Feast if you go with a group
(feeds twice as much as they claim unless you're really hungry).
excellent value and atmosphere. can get crowded.
