The Anchor Grill is best used after a night of drinking. The food
is your typical greasy spoon diner fare, with breakfast, burgers,
and sandwiches available 24 hours a day, 364 days a year. The only
day they close is Christmas.
Their slogan is, "We may doze, but we never close."
This is appropriate, because the service tends to be on the slow
side. Maybe it's the Southern hospitality thing, maybe
it's laziness. But you really don't care because it
gives you time to sober up before you get your food and go home.
If you like Goetta, this is definitely the place to go. Try the
Goetta omelette.

This is indeed one of the worst, if not THE worst restaurant I've
ever been to. The atmosphere is frighteningly Ku Klux Klan-ish,
the service is horrible, and not once have I been there without
one of my friends or I having to make a "special" trip to the bathroom.
The bathrooms, by the way, are far from spotless. It surprises
me that this place is sitll open!
