Just reopened as Youngstown Roadhouse new owner but alot of the same
employees and Great Food. They have added to their menu of Open Fire
Steaks and Ribs. But now they have some pasta's, Mexican and Soul
Food too. I couldnt believe the combo I got couldnt eat it all with the
salad and rolls. I'll be going back for more. When everywhere else
they want you to wait an hour to sit you can usually get a seat right away
and more for your money then the big name steak house just as good no better
to me.

Brown Derby Roadhouse has transformed the stodgy Brown Derby
into a Texas roadhouse on South Avenue in Youngstown. Similar
to other places like Lone Star and Longhorn, it serves a good steak
for the price. You can snack on peanuts and throw the shells onto
the hardwood floor, and grab yourself a cold beer or two to enjoy
with your meal. It doesn't differentiate itself from its
restaurant bretheren, but that's not necessarily a bad
thing.

When it comes to steaks, Roadhouse is of the same caliber as Lonestar
or Outback (with similar pricing). A good quality wood-fired
steak.

This was a favorite of mine when I was younger! I didn't know that
there was one this close to me...we usually would go further to
eat at the brown derby!

This place is the best in town for steak and all the fixings. Watch
out for the appetizers they are as big as a full meal. Service is
excellent. Expect a long wait to be seated, expecially on weekends,
bu its worth the wait to eat here.
