This is an old establishment. It has been in Prattville for as
long as I've been alive (37 years). They serve country vegetables
and meats. It's nothing wonderful but it's okay if you are homesick
for good old country cooking.
This is a very "homey" type restaraunt. The people there make
you feel like you've come over for Sunday dinner. Great food,
very clean.. almost like eating at grandma's house!
Located on Hwy 31 in a stand alone building. Jim's is open 24 hours
a day with the exception of Christmas. The food is typical southern
fare favorites. Portions are small but the food is quite adequately
prepared. This restaurant has a well established local clientele,
particularly with senior citizens. Restaurant has been featured
as a location for commentary/op-ed pieces in the local media.
