We have eaten here on several occasions, and when we wanted someplace special to take guests to, we picked this restaurant. The food and the atmosphere is wonderful, and its a very comfortable friendly place. *I recently tried to find their website, but it isnt there anymore. I hope nothing happened to cause them to close down. We travel all the way from Willowick just to eat there.

This tavern is in a building that was part of the underground railroad. The food is very good with nightly specials monday thru friday that are generally $11.00 or less. Example Thursday Prime and wine $10.99. 10 ounce prime rib, salad, your choice of potatoe (I recommend the twice baked), rolls and apple fritter. You will not be disappointed here.
